Title: Inspiration

This piece was largely unplanned. I began by simply playing with colour, texture and mood. At some point it demanded more considered thought about composition, prompting the emergence of the brighter central gold shape. It echoed my own experience of feeling lost in detail until a thought, piece of music, image or person brings a more accessible, cohesive clarity.
