Title: Light and Shade 2

Another piece inspired by visits to the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam) over the years and the wonderful treatment of light of the Dutch Masters. I have been curious to see how the traditional relationship between light and shade can be translated to abstract work. The composition is a little more formal than Light and Sade 1. I was keen to see how free form abstraction would work in a more contained structure.
