Title: Abstract

This one was a challenge for me; to see if I could work purely with colour, composition and texture without being distracted by any concrete images, associations and conscious inspiration. Music proved to be incredibly helpful in providing a discipline to hold me to my initial brief. Thanks to Duke Ellington, Paul Desmond and Bach.
I think I was largely successful in my intent.
